PEARL Society, Department of Polymer Science organized   Farewell Party of Polymer Science 3rd  year students (Batch 2020-23) on April 19, 2023.

IIT Delhi Visit

Polymer Science 3^rd Year students visited Department of Textile and Fibre Engineering, IIT Delhi on April 21, 2023.

Prof. Sidhharth Sirohi, Dr. Krishna Dutt, Dr. Prem Lata Meena & Dr. Anil Barak coordinated the visit. Prof.Manjeet Jassal (Department of Textile and Fibre Engineering, IIT Delhi Visit) coordinated the visit. 

Prof. Ashwini K Agrawal (IIT Delhi) took a session on career counselling during the visit.

Polymer Science 2^nd Year students visited UFLEX Limited Packaging Division, Noida, U.P. on March 21, 2023.

CROSSLINK 2023

 CROSSLINK-2023

Department of Polymer Science (PEARL Departmental Society), organized the annual Departmental Fest “CROSSLINK 2023” on Feb. 3-4, 2023. The event was sponsored by R. S. Bhatnagar & Son, Om Sai PG and Homes, Oriental Carbon & Chemicals Limited – India (OCCL), One Touch and MCB Testing Laboratory.

Activities of the event include Seminar, Polymer Quiz, Nukkad Natak & games for students.

Dr. Bhupesh Sharma (Shriram Institute- Technology Business Incubator & consultant) and Dr. Prasun Roy (Scientist ‘F’, Centre for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety, DRDO, Delhi) were the invited speakers in the seminar held on Feb. 03, 2023.

 Industrial Visit

 ALP Polymer park ( Neemrana, Rajasthan) Visit  

Polymer Science  3rd & 2nd year students  visited  ALP industries at ALP park (Neemrana, Rajasthan) on November15, 2022. Students visited the following  state of art facilities.

• Research and Devlopment Polymer Testing Facilities
• Mold designing centre
• Silicon rubber Processing unit
• EPDM processing Unit
• Plastic processing Unit

Dr. Chakraborty and Mr. Bhojraj from ALP industries coordinated (from ALP side) during the visit. Dr.Susmita Dey Sadhu, Prof. Sidhharth Sirohi, Dr.Krishna Dutt, Dr.Premlata Meena, Dr. Anil Barak and Dr.Umesh Kumar coordinated the visit.

 Orientation  of First Year Students (2022-23)

First year students (Polymer Science and Biomedical Science)   participated in induction programme organized by the college on November 2, 2022. Prof. Avneesh Mittal (Principal), Teacher-in-Charge of the Departments and Convener Library Committee addressed the students.
